Airport Scenic Overlook On top of Airport Road Great views of Coffee Pot Rock, Sugar Loaf, Thunder Mountain, Chimney Rock, Cockscomb, etc. A very popular viewpoint for sunset.
Uptown Sedona There are three parking areas for motorcoaches in Uptown Sedona and a loading/unloading area on Jordan Road in Uptown. Free shuttle, Sedona RoadRunner is available to visit various shops, restaurants, and art galleries. (This service is scheduled to end by June 30, 2011).
Historic Uptown Sedona self-guided walking tours are available and a self-guided Walking Tour pamphlet is available at the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Uptown Visitor Center.
Jordan Historic Park Located on Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona, this five acre park, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, offers an opportunity to visit a museum, take a short hike or enjoy picnic in a beautiful red rock setting.
Posse Grounds Park Located off SR 89A on Posse Grounds Road, this is the largest community park providing a variety of recreational opportunities surrounded by red rocks.

US Forest Service Red Rock Ranger Station 8375 Hwy179, Sedona, AZ 86351 Phone: 928-282-4119 This is a new facility just completed in 2008. The Visitor Contact Center has a lot of information on the ecosystem, flora and fauna, etc. of the Red Rock Country.
Bell Rock Vista & Pathway Mile post 307.5 on Hwy 179 Great views of Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, etc. (Limited to one motorcoach at a time.)
Oak Creek Vista On top of Oak Creek Canyon (13 miles north from Sedona) A bird's eye view of the Oak Creek Canyon and red rocks of Sedona
Commercial busses and tours may make incidental stops on the forest if: - stops are short in nature (approximately 15 min) - are not scheduled specifically on the tour - are at the request or need of the tour participants (i.e. rest room break, “to stretch my legs”) - no guiding services are provided
Commercial activities including tours to vortex sites, guided hikes, etc. on the Forest Service Land require permits. Please use the services of those businesses that are permitted. Step-on-Guide services are also available in Sedona.
